SUMMARY:BAB Digital Transformation Awards
DESCRIPTION:The “BAB Digital Transformation Awards” were launched on 13 December 2023 during the celebration of International Banks Day Celebration. The event was graced by the presence of the Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain\, along with several other prominent leaders from the financial sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain. \nThe award has been designed for all financial services institutions\, which aims to incentivize the adoption of digital transformation and innovation. \nThis award  is responded also to the lofty words of His Majesty the King on several occasions and most recently during the Arab Summit held in Bahrain\, where His Majesty called for greater Arab cooperation in the Technological and Digital transformation fields. This foresight aligns with Bahrain Vision 2030\, the Government Sustainable Development Strategy and the CBB Plan to develop the financial sector. \nWe have assembled a distinguished committee of experienced professionals to oversee the Awards. The winners of the Awards will be announced during the International Banks Day celebration scheduled for December 4\, 2024.

DESCRIPTION:The United Nations General Assembly adopted the initiative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to announce the international banks day\, an initiative that was presented by Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB) through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was approved at the recent meeting of the United Nations General Assembly. BAB received an official confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to mark the fourth of December of each year as an International Banks Day.
