Bahrain FinTech Bay and the Bahrain Association of Banks Host a Senior-Level Forum on Payments, Digital Assets, and AI for Bahrain’s Financial Sector
June 9, 2026Manama, xx May 2026: The Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB) has welcomed Rain as its first licensed crypto-asset member, marking a major milestone in the Kingdom’s evolving financial landscape.
This underscores the rapid digital transformation within Bahrain’s financial sector and also highlights the Association’s commitment to representing the full spectrum of the modern banking and financial ecosystem.
Through this membership, Rain will be able to participate actively in the Association’s specialized committees and contribute to strategic sector discussions focused on policy development, sector modernization and the advancement of digital assets that are growing internationally.
Mrs. Zeeba Askar, Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Association of Banks, welcomed Rain’s membership, stating: “Rain’s membership marks an important addition to the Association and reflects the increasing breadth of financial services in the Kingdom.
