BAB Open Dialogue (2022)
The dialogue brings top banking professionals together to acquire different insights and sharing expertise on the emerging developments of the banking sector. It provides an opportunity for banking institutions to meet the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) and discuss joint issues.
Bahrain Banks' Reception (IMF 2017)
The annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank represent a very important event, attended by ministers, government officials, private sector leaders and international institutions from different parts of the world, as well as about 10,000 people among delegates, officials, businessmen, non-governmental organizations, and others. The Bahrain Banking Association organized the reception this year under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance, National Economy, and the Central Bank of Bahrain.
International Banks Day (2021)
The United Nations General Assembly adopted the initiative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to announce the international banks day, an initiative that was presented by Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB) through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was approved at the recent meeting of the United Nations General Assembly. BAB received an official confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to mark the fourth of December of each year as an International Banks Day.
Gala Dinner (2014)
The Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB) held its first Gala Dinner under patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, in 2009. It has been held annually since then (but not in 2013). The last Gala Dinner was held on 4th March 2014. It has been traditionally held in November/December.
