  • Work with the CBB and all banks to protect the reputation of the banking sectors through the pursuit of full transparency by implementing Internal and International Banking rules.
  • Closely cooperate with the CBB and all banks to highlight the Kingdom of Bahrain as a regional financial and global center.
  • Promote the interests of banks in Bahrain at both local and international levels.
  • Coordinate with CBB and other authorities on matters relating to laws and regulations and banks’ policies.
  • Promote best practices for the banking industry.
  • Proactive participation in decisions affecting the banking community through lobbying, attending meetings, taking part in surveys and polls, or commenting on draft policies and regulations from government bodies, especially CBB.
  • Receipt of regular circulars and communications on latest issues and developments affecting the banking community.
  • Invitations to attend professional forums and networks, seminars and discussions.
  • Use of the Association premises and boardroom.
  • Assistance and guidance given on business issues and concerns.
  • Member banks are also encouraged to contact the Association which will address common issues of concern at the highest official levels.
